Penalty Shooters 2

Two Roles, Two Very Different Kinds of Pressure

Penalty Shooters 2 splits its tension between two opposite jobs: as the striker, you're picking a corner and committing to a shot with no way to change your mind once it's kicked, and as the goalkeeper, you're reading the striker's body language and guessing which direction to dive before the ball is even struck. Neither role is passive — a shooter who aims for the same corner repeatedly becomes predictable, and a keeper who dives randomly gets exploited just as fast. Tournament formats raise the stakes further, since a single missed penalty at the wrong moment can end a run that took several clean rounds to build.

Aiming Shots and Reading Goalkeeper Dives

As striker, click and drag or use directional controls to aim your shot toward a corner of the goal, then release to kick with the power you've built up. As goalkeeper, watch the striker's approach and stance for cues about their intended direction, then dive early enough to have a chance at the save.

  • Vary your shot placement across attempts rather than repeating the same corner every time.
  • Watch for subtle cues in the striker's run-up when playing goalkeeper, rather than guessing randomly.
  • Save your most unpredictable placement for high-pressure penalties later in a shootout.
  • Commit fully to a dive direction as goalkeeper rather than hesitating between two options.
  • Stay calm under tournament pressure, since a rushed shot often loses accuracy.
