Ludo Hero keeps the exact rhythm that's made Ludo a living-room staple for generations — roll the dice, move a token, hope the numbers line up in your favor — but wraps it in a clean digital board that removes the usual arguments over whose piece actually landed where. What keeps a match from being pure luck is the constant stream of small decisions layered on top of the dice roll: whether to move a token already close to home or bring a new one out of the starting area, and whether the safer play is landing defensively or gambling on a capture that could set an opponent back several spaces.
Tap the dice to roll, then select which of your four tokens to move based on the number shown, keeping in mind that not every roll has to go to the same piece. Landing on an opponent's token sends it back to their starting area, so watch the board for capture opportunities as well as spots where your own tokens might be vulnerable.
If classic turn-based board games are your speed, the jump-and-capture tactics of Checkers and the beginner-friendly strategy of Jr Chess offer more approachable board game fun. Discover more board and strategy games on our all games page.
