Ludo Hero

A Family Classic That Still Rewards Sharp Play

Ludo Hero keeps the exact rhythm that's made Ludo a living-room staple for generations — roll the dice, move a token, hope the numbers line up in your favor — but wraps it in a clean digital board that removes the usual arguments over whose piece actually landed where. What keeps a match from being pure luck is the constant stream of small decisions layered on top of the dice roll: whether to move a token already close to home or bring a new one out of the starting area, and whether the safer play is landing defensively or gambling on a capture that could set an opponent back several spaces.

Rolling, Moving, and Choosing Which Token to Advance

Tap the dice to roll, then select which of your four tokens to move based on the number shown, keeping in mind that not every roll has to go to the same piece. Landing on an opponent's token sends it back to their starting area, so watch the board for capture opportunities as well as spots where your own tokens might be vulnerable.

  • Spread your tokens out early rather than clustering them, so one bad roll doesn't strand your whole strategy.
  • Prioritize capturing an opponent's token when the opportunity is safe and doesn't overextend your own piece.
  • Bring new tokens out of the starting area steadily rather than waiting to roll the exact number needed.
  • Watch which squares are safe zones, and rest vulnerable tokens there when possible.
  • Prioritize moving tokens closer to home over starting new ones once the board gets crowded.
