Two Vikings, One Shared Path Forward
Duo Vikings turns platforms, levers, and enemy encounters into cooperative set pieces by giving you control of two viking heroes with complementary strengths. One can raise a shield to block projectiles and protect the other, while the second handles precise jumps across gaps or striking distant switches the shielded viking can't reach. You constantly swap between them, trading roles as each obstacle demands, and the best runs carry real momentum — solving one puzzle smoothly flows straight into the next like a well-timed duet.
Controls: Swap and Coordinate
Use the arrow keys or WASD to move whichever viking is currently active, and press a dedicated swap key (often Tab or a number key) to switch control between the two heroes. Each viking has its own action button for its unique ability — raising a shield for one, attacking or interacting for the other. Solving a level means figuring out which viking should act first to set up the other's path forward.
- Position the shield-bearing viking to block incoming attacks before advancing the other one.
- Identify which obstacle needs which viking's ability before making any moves.
- Keep both vikings relatively close together so switching between them doesn't waste time.
- Plan multi-step sequences fully before committing, since some puzzles require precise ordering.
- Restart quickly if one viking gets stranded rather than trying to force an awkward recovery.
