Drift Hunters

A 3D Sandbox Built Around Sustained Slides

Drift Hunters is a 3D drifting sandbox that rewards holding a slide, not just starting one. You feather the throttle and counter-steer to maintain a controlled drift angle through corners, linking multiple turns together to build score multipliers that climb the longer you stay sideways without spinning out. Earned points convert into real tuning upgrades — turbo, camber, gear ratios — that meaningfully change how your car handles, letting you gradually build a machine tuned for technical, high-value drift lines across the game's varied maps.

Controls: Throttle and Counter-Steer

Use the arrow keys or WASD to steer and control throttle, easing off the gas to initiate a drift into a corner and counter-steering into the slide to hold your angle without spinning out. Handbrake or a dedicated drift key can help kick the rear end out on tighter corners. Managing throttle input smoothly matters more than mashing any single key, since a sustained drift depends on constant small corrections.

  • Ease off the throttle gradually into corners rather than lifting off suddenly, which can snap you into a spin.
  • Counter-steer early once a drift begins to hold your angle rather than correcting after you've already started sliding wide.
  • Chain corners without fully straightening between them to keep your multiplier climbing.
  • Invest early upgrade points into handling and camber before chasing raw top speed.
  • Practice each map's layout to find where long sustained drifts are actually possible versus where short taps work better.
