An Endless Climb With Reactive Hazards
Doodle Jump sends its sketchy little doodle character bouncing automatically upward across a scrolling field of platforms, and your job is steering it left and right to keep landing on solid ground. Monsters occasionally block your path, letting you either dodge around them or shoot them out of the way, while power-ups like springs, propellers, and jetpacks send you rocketing past gaps you couldn't normally clear. The game ramps up quickly as you climb higher, but runs are short enough that every fall turns into a quick lesson for the next attempt.
Controls: Steer Left and Right
Use the left and right arrow keys, A and D, or your mouse position to steer the doodle character side to side — it jumps automatically whenever it lands on a platform. Press the spacebar or click to shoot at monsters blocking your path when a shooting power-up is active. There's no manual jump button; all your control comes from positioning yourself to land on the next platform.
- Look a few platforms ahead rather than focusing only on the one directly below you.
- Grab springs and jetpacks whenever they appear — they're often the only way past wide gaps.
- Watch for moving or breakable platforms and time your landing accordingly.
- Shoot monsters from a safe distance rather than trying to dodge around them at the last second.
- Stay centered when possible so you have room to react to platforms on either side.
