Die in the Dungeon turns the deckbuilding roguelite formula into a dice pool instead of a deck of cards. Each turn you roll your current dice, which show attack, block, and utility symbols, and choose how to play them against whatever enemy stands in your way. Between fights you upgrade individual dice faces, duplicate your strongest symbols, and draft relics that reshape your entire strategy. Foresight is everything — knowing when to play it safe with blocks versus committing everything to a lethal spike against a boss is what separates a clean run from a sudden death.
Click to roll your dice pool at the start of a turn, then click individual dice to select which symbols to play toward attacking, defending, or activating utility effects. Confirm your turn to lock in the results before the enemy acts. Between encounters, click to choose upgrades and relics from the options presented to you, building toward a dice pool suited to your current run.
If Die in the Dungeon's build-and-adapt loop appeals to you, try the wave-survival economy of Day of Meat or the unit-composition strategy of Clash of Tanks. Explore more strategy and roguelite games on our all games page.
