Crown Guard

Escalating Waves That Punish Sloppy Defense

Crown Guard is a lane-based tower defense game where your only job is keeping the crown standing against wave after wave of attackers. Early waves are simple fodder, but enemies quickly scale into armored elites that shrug off weak defenses and punish careless unit placement. Success comes from synergizing your lanes — slowing fields that feed enemies into splash-damage zones, and single-target snipers positioned to finish off tougher bosses — while map modifiers keep forcing you to adapt rather than repeat the same layout every round.

Controls: Place, Upgrade, Defend

Click or tap open lane slots to place defenders, spending coins earned from defeated enemies and completed waves. Select placed units to upgrade their damage, range, or special effects between rounds. There's no direct character movement — your strategy lives entirely in where you place units and how you spend your coins before the next wave arrives.

  • Save some coins after early waves instead of spending everything, so you have flexibility when armored enemies appear.
  • Pair slowing units with high-damage splash defenders to maximize how much punishment grouped enemies take.
  • Reserve single-target snipers for lanes where bosses or armored elites are likely to funnel through.
  • Reassess your lane layout whenever a map modifier changes rather than sticking to a previous winning setup.
  • Upgrade existing defenders before adding new ones once your lanes are already covered — raw stats often beat more units.
