Bob the Robber 2

A Thief With a Cause

Bob the Robber 2 follows its title character as an unconventional thief whose burglary skills end up serving the greater good, guiding him through 10 levels packed with security cameras, patrolling guards, and trap doors. Unlike a pure stealth-avoidance game, Bob can actively deal with guards by knocking them out from behind, turning careful positioning into an offensive tool rather than something to always avoid. Hidden cash tucked around each level funds a small in-game shop of gadgets, giving you a light progression system on top of the core stealth puzzle-solving — better tools make later, trickier levels more manageable if you've been thorough about collecting along the way.

Knocking Out Guards and Cracking Security

Move Bob with the arrow keys, and press Spacebar to knock out a guard when you're positioned correctly behind them. Pick locks to open doors, stay within the blind spots of security cameras to avoid triggering alarms, and sabotage circuit boards to unlock electronic doors that would otherwise block your route. Grab hidden cash scattered through each level to spend on gadgets from the shop between levels, which can make future stealth sections considerably easier. The objective in each level is to complete the heist goal — usually stealing a specific item — and reach the exit without ever being caught by a guard or camera.

Pulling Off a Clean 10-Level Heist Streak

  • Approach guards from directly behind. A knockout only works with the right positioning, so patience before striking matters.
  • Map camera blind spots before moving through a room. Rushing through camera coverage is the fastest way to trigger an alarm.
  • Collect hidden cash even on tight routes. Gadgets bought from the shop often make later levels significantly easier.
  • Sabotage circuit boards before guards patrol nearby. Timing matters just as much for hacking doors as it does for avoiding guards.
  • Replan your route after a failed attempt. A caught run often reveals a guard pattern or camera angle worth avoiding next time.

Stealth Puzzles With Personality

Bob the Robber 2 stands out in the heist genre by giving its protagonist real character and a shop-based progression loop on top of solid stealth-puzzle fundamentals. If you enjoyed this entry, Bob the Robber 4 continues the series with new levels and refined mechanics, while Bank Robbery 3 offers a more action-capable alternative for when stealth isn't going as planned.
